Video aside: this is the type of things that come to mind when I hear this song. This truely breaks my heart and gives me hope whenever I hear it. I hope the children's voices ring true and someday everyday me be a Christmas they sing of.

I dont sit around and listen to music and cry, but as far as emotionally powerfull songs? The Mountain Goats "Family Happiness". Good strumming pattern, well written lyrics, lo fi recording...
Polaris' "Hey Sandy" because it was the intro of Pete and Pete And of course the kick ass Unicorn's song "Ghost Mountain"

The Verve - The Drugs Don't Work I woke up to this song on the radio after waking up from a really really dark moment in my life. I grew up a lot that day. Now when I listen to it my spine tingles...
