I swear to god that searching for these fucking items has eaten up a monumental portion of my life. They have an uncanny ability to sort of sliiiiide into the goddamndest of places.

i have "hooks and baskets" of sorts. only I call them my nightstand, kitchen counter, coffee table and sofa. when they're not there i just fucking lose it.

Word, everything I need when I go out, be it keys, cell phone, Zune, papers, binder, whatever... is on the left hand side of my desk, except my wallet, which perches on top of my PC tower.
Every day.
Force of habit keeps me from losing shit.

newer luxury models have a card that doesn't even have to be put into any kind of ignition, just present within the vehicle
