Yeah I've seen that, it was pretty awesome. The stuff about operation paperclip, and von braun's defection/surrender, basically how Nasa is literally a nazi project always seem to get omitted from the "american" success of getting shit on the moon.

yea yea yea i also saw a bbc doc on the british space race and all the brit scietists say that same stuff- that the american space program was built by british brains, nazi engineers and american money.

but personally i dont buy that .

the v2 was to the saturn 5 like a civil war pistol is to a hellfire missle.

all the various problems we solved and shit and new tech we deloped, maybe some of it was built on the shoulders of german science, but every new tech discovery is build on prior discoveries. even newton said he stood on the shoulders of giants...

the v2 istelf was basically a copy of jules verne and hg wells ideas about rockets and space travel that they wrote about in the 1880s and shit, so every invention borrows from earlier ideas.
