I mostly don't like being around retarded people and am irritated by them. Sometimes I think they should just be insitutionalized or not allowed in public.

Some of them are very interesting and good people that I actually like, but those are the borderline cases.

The one I can think of is a guy who lived by himself in a condo next to my Grandma's in AZ. He worked at the grocery store, was always well groomed and never bothered anyone. I even had a conversation with him. I can honestly say I enjoyed his company more than most people.

i have an uncle who's severely retarded. he can't speak and pretty much all he can do is feed himself and go to the bathroom (not clean up after himself). when we were kids my brothers and i used to play "hide from uncle roland," "throw pillows at uncle roland," and sometimes "hide and throw pillows at uncle roland." i feel really bad for it because he's probably the nicest person i've ever met in my life. he loves me and when i see him sometimes he still asks me to stay the night (by putting his hands together against he ear and tilting his head) like i often used to when i was young (he lives with my grandparents).

growing up my dad used to get super pissed whenever one of us called someone/something retarded.

My little brother has mad learning disabilities. Not mentally retarded but mentally handicapped. It's not easy but you gotta realize how much harder it is for them. You know with all the dim-witted fuck-shits that are gonna make fun of them and rough him up for being less able then other people.

I'm not gonna lie I've had to fight for my little brother several times man, make sure your other kids know to look out for him. I tutor him 3 times a week now too. He's a cool guy, a little to into cartoons, but what the fuck it makes him happy .

Oh yea and look out for priests who say that handicapped people go to hell.

i call them handicapped... they're mysterious people as well. such a mystery what is going on inside their heads. i bet it's not as bad in there as we think. the outward frustration is horribly sad though.

my brother worked in at a house for mentally handicapped people for a while and would bring one dude over for dinner once in a while. all the guy would care about is food and sex, he fell in love with my younger sister and kept wanting to shake her hand, then in the car ride home he started going ballistic and talking about how hes gonna jerk off when he gets home. he constantly asks for more food even though he already has an adequate portion, he will be half done with a full glass of coke and already starts asking for more. he is obsessive over his shoes and constantly asks people if they like his shoes and if they have any more shoes for him. he insisted on going through my room for clothes he wanted and none of the stuff i offered him was good enough for him, basically hes just a selfish bastard. every other day this guy goes ballistic and attacks someone but its the responsibility of society to take care of him every minute of every day.
