i love public transportation. it's a people-watchers paradise. i stereotype every single person in the joint and imagine their life circumstances.

I've done mushrooms a dozen times or so. Why? Cause of the paranoia? yeah I agree, on public transportation it can be overbearing. But if you're not having a claustraphobic trip, which i usually don't, public spaces can be very enlightening.

You should expand that and write some short stories Hemingway! This is one of my Wife's biggest influences for them, seems to get down some good ones.

I like taking a beer in a coffee cup and burning a joint while I wait. Then I just ride around and chill, see what the town is doing. I also really like reading in the back of the bus as well.

Most of the good friends we made in Vancouver we from on the bus. Getting to know people each morning just a bit more is pretty cool. So interesting notes are friends I only saw on the bus. Geoffrey was a 56 year old man from Hong Kong and loved engineering because 'numbers are easier to express than English even after 40 years in Canada'. And a Ukrainian man name Constantine, who was graying, had a family and loved classical music. He use to ask my about how my bass playing was going all the time, and was amazed I could drive my delivery truck and listen to classical music. He felt that he has to close his eyes and let it transport him away.... I said that was what the truck was for!

As a matter of fact, a lot of the most friendly strangers I made on the bus were from the Ukraine....

Public Trans is good imo, because it helps break that bubble of privacy we try to keep and in losing that, we really experience the human condition in all it's splendor and toil. I would be lying if I said it didn't aggravate me some times, but it's a really good practice for me to keep an open heart and mind to people's joy and sufferings, as well as a chance to be nice to as many people as I can see.

Now trippin'....definite ly have to sit in the back for that one. The most interesting people I find are there.

I'll word and third that. And I have ridden public trans in Chile (not third world, developing if not developed but it's still an adventure, especially when you're a tall lanky ginger motherfucker) whilst tripping.

they really are all staring at me

Damn people irk me out wayyy to much, I'd probably miss my stop. I could only do it with a friend to be honest. I can barely handle buying shit at stores without slipping up.

I guess I'm just too much of an introvert I probably would just walk it. I love walking when I am dosed. I've walked for hours just to get to certain towns and avoid seeing people or filling up my car. Ever sleep in the woods on the sides of bike-path's, hahaha? Yep I'm that dude.
