If you actually read the Bible you will see it endorses violence and aggressiveness a lot. The only part where it talks about that is Jesus' sermon on the mount.

It's a book full of contradictions, written by different people at different times. Some of the stories make no sense and have no meaning.

It's pitiful. It would be funny if so many people didn't take it seriously.
