-I keep all of my magazines..all of them I have a 6ft stack of mini truckin that's complete from june of 99 to present
- I vacuum my floor every other day bc I can't stand feeling anything but carpet on my bare feet - I put my name on every tool I own (every 6inches for 3ft on tape measures) - I organize my tackle box by color and lure type (swim baits, spinner baits, soft plastics, etc) - I like to read books about the Vietnam War - I buy old school paintball guns fix them up and sell them for profit (if I don't hoard them) - I txt my lil sister everyday to check up on her (she just got her own place in a shit neighborhood) - I also organize my music by artist and release date. Movies by date and genre - also I buy fishing lures & reels to try em out then give the ones that aren't as productive to friends and family - I'm ocd about my trucks being clean.. I wash and wax them @least twice a week - I keep a list of my music and movies buy my pc so I don't dl them twice

I use to multi track record using a drum machine, VCR, a Walkman Cassette Player, and an Emerson Dual Cassette Stereo with an AUX/CD input.
First I programmed an Alesis SR16 with beats and then recorded that directly to the Emerson Cassette Recorder. I then played that cassette in the walkman, and recorded the first guitar. I used stereo out to rca jacks from the walkman, converted that to mono and ran it to one side of a stereo to mono adapter, with the guitar signal going to the other side. I brought both of those signals together, and split the mono signal back into the Emerson left and right AUX/CD inputs and recorded it on the dual cassette having a guitar and drum signal on both channels. I then placed the new cassette that I had recorded drum and guitar tracks to, in the Walkman to once again send through the signal path I explained earlier with my guitar to record any overdubs or solos I wanted to play. But this time, I put the cassette on the Emerson Stereo to 'Record' and paused it. That left the signal live-that I could still hear through the headphone output on the Emerson Stereo. I ran a 1/4 stereo out to rca audio in's on the vcr, and ran a dummy video signal-usually cartoons. Viola. I had drums and two guitars recorded at 6 IPS instead of 2 1/2 IPS which I believe is what cassette tapes used to run at. Also cleaner with less back round noise, and I could get 2 hours or tape that way if I wanted to. How's that for 'nerdy'? I will figure out how to put some of them to mp3.s and post a couple. |

I'm a very big fan of internet culture, the memes the jokes, everything.
I love my old yamaha organ. Oh shit I draw electrical circuits for fun in PCschematic. That's dorky. I designed a dead mans switch. I know it's been done before, but I arrived at it independently. Board games? Yes Please! Gotta try all the new games for pc. Dorky dorky.

I have magic cards too. From 2nd Edition thru Ice Age (and a little beyond).
I have a pretty good sized comic book collection from mostly the 70's. I reread books for fun. I like jigsaw puzzles. Especially in winter. hmmm...is there a difference between a dork and a nerd?

What isn't dorky about me?
Aside from growing up as a D&D / LOTR Nerd, I am now a middle aged man who is preternaturally flatulent, loves chess and fractals, and hangs out with a bunch of stoners half my age on a message board on the internet. All I need to do now is write a book about consciousness and I... Oh, yeah. ![]() ![]() The Rev |

Letschill: very doubtful but that's the one I admit to. He he he
Mafoo: no way man, its gotta shiny and uber slick.. Its gotta be so slick I slide off when leaning against them.. I used to wash and do a quick wax daily when I detailed cars in 02-03. Perks of the job @ the time.
