Sectioning and Backcombing hair can take a LONG time anyways. I think my friend said it took like 5 hours to completely get his hair ready for dreads(If I remember correctly). Let alone the fact that as everyone has said before takes a long time to have actual dread locks.

There is no magic dread potion where you can wake up with fat locks. Patience is required.

It's kind of cool how they work though like my buddy had a few dreads form and grow together and make one thick lock.

And there is no way to "undread" your hair once they are formed, you have to shave it.

and v05 conditioner will help untangle dreads, you'd probably need a whole bottle in one shower but you can. and i'm sure a lot of hair will be fallin out. but i'd rather just shave em.

My mate is a tall white dude and has massive dreads and a beard and look fucken cool.

I think it might be a bit of a culture thing, seems the States and Eng think these hairstyles are only for "people of colour",

But in the south pacific heaps of "white" people have massive dreads

I suppose the look most closely associated with dreads down here is Surfing and Smoking weed - we all live close to the beach!

I never said you were impatient or ignorant bro. you asked some shiz about dreads in the 1st post and im givin ya some facts about dreads, thats all.

And your right about not having to shave em off. you can comb them out but its a painful/long process, but possible.

try em out though, if u dont like em... cut. its just hair

i met this dude at a small town grocery store delivering ice with some sick dreads.
that'd be a bad ass job. just drivin to different grocery stores and unloadin ice, by yourself.
