For years I didnt get sick because I was totally strung out on some kind of opiate. Dxm is great because it makes you forget youre even sick.
I would highly advise taking warm bath/showers too...Sit in there, read a book, smoke a bowl and maybe a cigarette. Then get out and get into bed.
Also "mind over matter"...Meditation can be good.

I drink lots of water, go soak in a hot tub and curl up in a warm blanket when I get out.... I've been sick as fuck for the last few days and it sucks. Sleeping it off is good if you don't have body aches and can actually sleep.

I smoke herb (thank God for real medicine!) and go to bed, or at least rest. I also drink juices and herbal teas (which I do every day anyway) and easy-on-the-stomach food like chicken noodle soup. Lots of sleep...

Incense is effective medicine (see this post for explanation). Worked back then, still works today.

I had a flu and smoked to help me sleep throughout the day around 3 years ago. I've had a chronic cough (every 15 seconds I need to cough or clear my throat) ever since. Thats the main reason I got a vape.

Sorry to hear that. Are you aware of any physical reason for your symptoms? Those can be symptoms of anxiety/OCD as well.

Don't smoke if you have a temperature and are coughing as some have suggested here. These could be symptoms of an respiratory infection at best or (as you suspect) swine flu at worst. Smoking leaves particles in your lungs which attract fluid. More coughing. If you have an infection there - more infection!

Vape if you must inhale your herb. If you don't have a vaporizer, eat it. Make firecrackers or something. Heck, I save my post-vaped weed for just this purpose. Canna Butter maybe on toast if you are sick to your stomach.

Most important: SEE A DOCTOR. Tell him (her) you smoke weed (if you do smoke). There is this thing called "client doctor privilege" that means they get sued if they tell anyone anything you say to them during a doctor visit (as long as you paid something). They can't even tell the police or a judge. You can trust them. Unless you get a real ass, they will be cool about it.
