my friend adam's parents own a pet flying-squirrel. it's adorable, and according to them does not fly/shit simultaneously indoors. the airsquirrel immediately appears when its humans call its name, and i think that's pretty surprising.

yeah sugar gliders are more work than ferrets though, I'm sure if you had the time for them they would be amazing pets.

Coolest pet I've ever actually interracted with was my elementary school guidance counselors who had a bunch of those stick bugs in a terrarium. australian stick bugs i believe they are.
