i want jumpers. loads of hella cool knitted jumpers. a decent watch and a hat that fits me/ doesnt make the top of my head look disporoprtionate to the rest of my face.

also more check shirts!

This topic is something else. I think what SB said about playing along is the best suit here.
When I see pictures of Neil Young in the 70s, I laugh, because that is pretty much how I get down too, but that we me seeing someone after the fact, not working up to it. So I don't know about clothes creating a person. I think there are times it's good to look nicer than others, or more appropriate than others. But if you are putting on clothes to speak for your personality, you are going to be saying likely, that you are wanting to known as 'that guy who puts too much thought into it'.

But I'm bias in the manner of thought I come to this with. I dress for function.

My 'thing' that I 'do' or find myself doing mostly is wearing a collared shirt under a sweater, flip it over the fleece collar, or pop out my collar from under a thermal top. So I'm me, with all my hair, and a little preppy looking collar coming out. This took hold for me when I was working in a dept store. It adds something nice without trying to say something with it.

I don't know Merc, blending and bending is fun. I liked dressing 'normal' in a city like Vancouver, since everyone else is trying so hard or wearing such and such. So then normal were the black clad city clones, while I stuck out like a sore thumb in my Cosby sweaters and clod hoppers. Fucking with their 'decency'

And I don't even want to touch the 'why gay people' thing. People need community and safety, I don't think they are trying to 'be' gay in most cases. I'm offended for my friends at these statements, pretty much.

To all the people out there trying to 'be' straight, doing all your straight talking and straight fun in your straight clubs....I love you as well

....in a straight way.....wtf is straight anyways? Try bending that into your mental 'style'.

We're all stereo types in someones eye's so fuck it.....put your pants on one leg at a time, whatever fabric or glitter that they are made from.

I find that deadheads and people in the metal scene are the most authentic and able to express themselves as individuals...
