If you could revamp your image...

... what would you change your image to be?

I've always secretly envied people who were deep into a certain scene. Sometimes I wonder if that's just a fantastical image that the media portrays in movies and music videos. But I'm sure there really are people who just epitomize a certain image or clique.

Like for example vampires are really hot right now. You know somewhere there is someone who is doing the whole vampire scene better than anyone else.

if I could make over my image and totally change my identity I would like to be known as a half preppy half goth. Picture deadsy, without the make up:

Someone who has unique, fetish-like and slightly ironic style but who plays it with an intelligent, ivey leaguish apathy. Top it off with a dark sex appeal and you have it.

I wouldn't go so far as the Lolita look though. That's just homosexual.

lol hey that's a really good observation. they DO look like extras from that bully game.

BUT stfu with that "just be yourself" nonsense. This ain't no damn afterschool special. We're talking fantasy. And when people say "be yourself" what they're really saying is "don't make an effort". Just roll out of bed and put your clothes on. Fine and dandy if you don't believe in the old phrase "art for arts sake". In other words, being yourself is for when you're alone.

this is true. i could adopt a new image every day if i could pull together the right clothes in my closet and get my hair going. but some things i'm talkin gabout are serious life circumstances that you can't just perpatrate (sp). you have to cultivate it.
