Good spot for brainstorming..

I'm working on a comic strip ad for this protein popcorn we're trying to market to like 16-25 year old guys as a healthy alternative to junk food.. Thought a comic strip would make for a pretty dope print ad campaign because we can roll out different versions and a preogressive series/story type of thing. I'm thinking something with like Lou Ferrigno getting caught in a sticky situation, having some of our popcorn, HULK'N out, and then all is good at the end kind of thing..

I know this sounds like a long shot, but why not just say, "Our popcorn is a healthy alternative to junk food". It's not emotionally manipulative or suggestive but it might work.

if u presented that idea to me at my ad firm i would say....."thanx for your time herb we appreciate you coming in with your ideas. we will be in touch. Good afternoon sir."

then i would find my secretary and say "get me who ever let mr herb pitch his idea to me please"

they would get who ever left u pitch your idea to me and i would say "mr whatever did u let mr herb present his comic idea to me today?" he would say "why yes, what did u think of it mr cube?" Then i would say "your fired".

for constructive criticism though i would say. Its just a lame idea, u will run into copyright issues and if u have to keep making new material it takes more time and money. Also comic strips in print form in advertising havent been successful sense the 50s and 60s.

Herb think about you would want to be sold to you.

How about an energy bar that got you wired as like 3 red bulls, looks like a smore's, and tastes like your mom's sweet ass. Put it in a vacuum sealed bag with Angelina Jolie naked on the front, duel wielded Tec-9's that fire red yellow jackets with the power to explode. Oh and don't forget to shape the bar like a huge fucking arrow so everybody knows which way the fucking awesome is going; YOUR BODY.
