Mr Steward was unconcerned about all the attention, citing age as a liberating factor in his escapade.

"It's a lot of fuss isn't it?" he said.

"When you get to 80 and beyond it doesn't matter much. He's out there waiting for us and you just got to wait your turn."

He rejected a suggestion to get a satellite navigation system.

"Why would you want one of those? You can't get lost. There is no fun in that."

lol this guy is cool

driving stoned doesn't affect me negatively whatsoever, no matter how high I get. if anything, it may cause me to roll more slowly than usual...

but a bad driver high = a bad driver in the first place

^that's not even a negative in my case. typically i go over the speed limit & when baked it's far more likely that i'll adhere. somehow, i've had zero speeding tickets.

lol this reminds me of the time my buddy drove an hour away in the wrong direction during what should have been a 10 minute drive home. He apparently didn't read any of the numerous road signs and even switched interstates a couple times.

driving w/hangover is much more fucking difficult than driving high. and i'd be willing to bet more dangerous too.

All depends on the person...for me, dirving while tired is more dangerous than driving high (actually fatigue is the number 1 cause of accidents). I've been driving high DAILY for years and my driving record is spotless.

falling asleep at the wheel seems almost impossible and definitely unimaginable to me. i can be mindful enough to stay awake if my car and life depend on it, no matter how zonked out.
