Circumstantial evidence is mounting that the phenomenon was caused by a malfunctioning rocket, possibly an ICBM launched from a Russian submarine. A Navtex no-fly alert was issued for the White Sea on Dec. 9th, and photographers appear to have recorded the initial boost phase of a launch below the spiral (see inset). A rocket motor spinning out of control could indeed explain the spiral pattern, so this explanation seems plausible, although it has not yet been confirmed.

That spiral looks perfect. Would a rocket motor spinning out control create such a perfect pattern? Even if you were trying, I'd think it would still be tricky.

There's a couple of videos of this event out there too, clearly not a rocket imo.

I hate it when that happens, you see some weird shit, and then some agency or whatever comes along and says 'oh no, it was this, move along now nothing to see here folks", then anytime someone brings it up they get "so and so said it was this, end of story".

looking at all the pictures, it's definitly not a rocket at all. Sure I'm no expert but look at how big the spirals radius is as compared to it's "Tail".

It looks 4 dimensional to be honest.
