Well, I'm officially taking myself "off the market".
I've made the announcement to family, friends, facebook, and all that. But it felt like I was leaving someone out, and I realized that I had yet to tell you guys. So here it is, Yahooka:

I'm getting married!

In 16 days, I'll be a wifey! I've been coming here for quite a while now, and I feel like you all have sort of watched me grow up. So I wanted to share this with you, because I'm SO freaking excited about it. Any marital wisdom or well-wishes are totally welcomed.

Haha, Turmaline. Would your advice be something along the lines of "Fuck men! Stay away from them!"?

My dress is actually not a wedding dress, because fluffy and frilly is just really not my style. It is kinda sexy though. I'll try to take some pics and post them here, because my man's getting all superstitious and won't let me try it on for him, but I'm dying to show someone.

Haha yeah I do feel like a bit of an old lady, going off and getting married like everybody else does. Our families have this crazy idea that we're going to start making babies once we're married, and they're sadly mistaken about that. They seem pretty convinced that it will be the next step for us, but we're both just thinking "Noooooooooo!"

Actually, we'll be moving away from this apartment and into a house in a different part of town pretty soon. I was very upset about it when I first realized that I'd have to part ways with my beloved squirrels, but my man reassured me that they got along just fine before they met me. Plus, our new house has a large yard with lots of (our very own) trees! So I'm sure I'll have new squirrels, and they will definitely become our adopted family members.

and sometimes we forget to communicate when we're really mad, or really happy,or wtv feeling it's just you always got to make sure that your both on the same page and know what you want from each other.
