Canadian-made product recalled in U.S.

ok this is the second time in 3 days that this happens

Canadian-made product recalled in U.S.

one part specifically:
Quote:
About 700,000 packages of Vicks DayQuil Cold and Flu Liquidcaps, which are manufactured in Canada but sold in the U.S., were recalled because the packaging was not child-resistant, and lacked a label to warn parents that the contents could seriously harm a child, as is required by U.S. law.
so are they saying
that american parents are so negligent, that things that could potentially harm their children should be banned all together? yet theres gun stores next to every 7/11?

if someone can explain this to me,
please do tell.

there aren't gun stores next to every 7-11.

i'm not so sure that they're "banned" completely, they just don't meet the US saftey standards. yes, the standards are asnine, but no suprise.

of course it's silly. Shit like that is so that they don't get the fuck sued out of them every time some idiot leaves their cold and flu meds laying around.

I believe in being able to sue, but I wouldn't sue for 95% of the shit people do in the US. It's really fuckin sad. Totally fucked up our country.

so are they saying
your shit follows our product guidelines or it cannot be sold in America.

Vicks by the way is a very old American company, having recently acquired slaves in Canada to make their product cheaply, but to an obviously inferior standard.

Shame on you America.

I don't know where you live ASG in Cali, but back in Appalachian PA, there were 6 gun stores in the town I grew up in.

I agree, I guess I was just using the umbrella term for all those places in town that have them.

Is there a problem with owning guns? I find them rather entertaining and enjoyable.

Good point, however, there are probably, 5 places in my entire county to buy guns...that includes Wal Mart, if you can buy guns there...not every Wal Mart sells guns. Still not on every corner. Not to mention there isn't a 7-11 for like....100 miles in any direction.

A gunshop on every corner makes me ...now, that'd be accurate for all of Texas maybe...

Anyone remember that bonehead who got 18 million for sticking a cup of hot coffee between her knees in the car and removed the top to put sugar in the cup?

Now, visualize that in your head...

Come to the same conclusion I did?

What a fuckin' MORON! She deserved the burn, not the money.
