which accent annoys you the most?

Any accent, worldwide, which one wants to make you pour hot tar into your ear canals just so you wouldn't have to listen to it anymore?

I'd have to say that the "Southern" accent is the worst in my book. I will say that sometimes it can be sexy coming from a girl but from a guy..kill me please.

I dislike the deep south accent the most. Since I currently live in Texas, I've gotten use to their accents. I guess the way I feel is with deep south accents you always sound uneducated no matter what you say, with Texans there's a minuscule possibility that they can actually sound intelligent with a southern accent.

however i have met some ppl with that new york/new jersey yiddish-y accent that became extremely annoying after a while, but it was partly because they seemed to yell everything they said, and constantly called out to God except they said OH MY GWAAAD! and also WHAAHT THE FWUUK? and one lady kept yelling "OH GWAAAD! I'M GOING TO PLOTZ!!"

My southern drinking buddies in the service always complained about the northerners "fast talk" saying it was all chopped up.

It's not 'hot tar' in my ear, but I tend to have a hard time understanding heavy African accents, at least with the men I've meant. This is so because of the lowness of the tone generally, in my experience.

The accent I love the most would be German.

Seriously, you guys hate southern accents THE MOST? I think a southern accent can be quite charming. Especially compared to, say, an old asian woman. You ever hear those screeching bitches talk? I hate when they go kinda like "Eeeeeeeh!?!?!" really loud when they want you to repeat yourself.

I have plenty of hispanic friends whose folks speak primarily spanish and I so dig listening to them fight, moms is yelling in spanish and they're yelling back in english, fuckin' cracks me up...

Only affected accents bother me, like when white people try to talk like black people, etc. Otherwise, I tend to enjoy all accents (even if they are hard to understand sometimes). I like things about people that are different than things about myself, or things that I'm used to with people. I like differences, period.
