Just wanted to bump this up to say that it is helping with my anxiety!

I have moderate social anxiety, and Niacinamide hasn't gotten rid of it completely but it has definitely helped. I started with 1650 mg a day. Then moved onto 2200 and finally settled on 2750 mg. Not only is my anxiety lowered but i also feel happier and more optimistic.

lol i feel like im doing a commercial. Anyway its been about 4 months ive been taking it and it has definitely helped

how expensive is it? where do you get it? do you suffer from panic attacks and does it help with it?

I never did get panic attacks that often, only in certain situations. Since i started taking it I havent had one yet, although i do still have some anxiety. But i feel that it has helped (Placebo effect or not).

I get a bottle at my local co-op. I think its around $12 for 100 capsules. 1 capsule=550 mg

here is what i get

Also..... apparently you can get some nasty side effects if you take too much. You get real hot, and become nauseated. This has never happened to me. When i was doing research on it I read somewhere that the maximum dose is around 6000 mg. Of course its different for each person, but just keep that in mind.

I took B complex (Stress tabs) for a while .

didn't help.

found out that mega doses of niacin can be toxic.

that's all I know about B's and anxiety.

Weed however works fine if it's of a certain quantity/quality.

Interesting note;
Last visit to my PC physician @ the VA hospital, I told her I used cannabis on a regular basis for stress (because she asked after smelling it on me) she wasn't surprised knowing my medical history, and proceded to ask about some legal problems she was having on the subject. Seems her son (19) was arrested in Florida on posession with intent to distribute...because he had a scale on him along with marijuana. Florida laws suck by the way. I advised that the scales were to check quantities purchased, not to be sold, and her lawyer should cover that issue in that way. She recommended a treatment program (I can't be bothered with "chat" groups anymore, they do not help) so I declined.

Pot has medicinal properties, for some...it is the only thing that seems to work.
