Sage and The Jester,Mydriasis and Smaerd hit the Pitt.

It was good times for sure.

I got to J's house fairly early in the day. So we went for a walk around his a local favorite spot. Got back to his place and took a 3-4 hour nap I think, bless him for letting me rest

I had just came from a month on the road, visiting with family, sister's wedding and dropping my Wife off at the airport and a 4 hour drive. I was relieved to have slept so long. Thanks Brother.

We sat around and smoked a little had a few beers and hung out with the pets.

Jester you'll have to correct me here on the name of the park, but the next day we went hiking around this park north of Pitt by an hour or so.

It's an old mill stream with pretty good channels carved from when the stream was more of a river I suppose. This made the roads super tight and really winding.

We hit a trail, going completely the wrong direction.... lucking in 5 mins we found a chillum with some herb in it and after a brief pause we were heading the right direction

There was a cool little loop trail past two bridges and fairly shady, which was nice since it was a hot day. There pics with the mill stone are an example of what we saw along the way. This particular site in the pic has about 6-7 stones along the stream in really good condition. The mill ran till the 1900s I believe.

We stopped and got some water from a spring and I was washing my face in the cool water pool below. Unfortunately the kneeling board was wobbly and I went in up to my knees

... I was NOT hot then.

The trail we wanted to see was 5 miles away, so we opted to drive over there quickly since the day was getting shorter. We broke J's covered bridge cherry and down the road we went.

The falls in the pic below was the place we stopped and cooled off. These are way cooler than I expected and the slate banks along it's edge were washed away into a tube like bank.

I had a really good time relaxing and getting to know Jester. And I just wanted to say thanks here and to say, give this guy a call if you're in his neck of the woods.

Thanks ASG, sorry for moving that outa the balls thread, but you posted really fast before I decided to move it to this place. haha. We had a really good time. I can say, it's not always natural with people, but other than being in the woods all the time, it was Supernatural

Hehe it was really nice meeting sage. Really awesome guy who knows how to chill and have a good time!

The park was called McConnels Mills State Park, and it was very nice place

. It was cool to see all the old mill stones along-side the river. I remember when you slipped into that water resevoir thing, damn that wobbly board, lol.

No need to say thanks but because you did I retort a: you are ever so welcome, come over anytime! You are always welcome here sage(haha now it's weird using your forum name).

Those kids were so funny I couldn't stop laughing! Window lickin' lol.

Pretty much if anyone ever wants to meet up with Sage, you should. He's a really amazing fellow, full of good stories, fun conversation, and like I said before knows how to have a good laid back-time.
