Budder

So basically after making BHO, you just heat it up on a hot plate to refine it by cooking off more butane than would otherwise evaporate at room temperature?

I'm getting a honey bee extractor tool and will report on it later when i use it

I'll be using a brand anything but Ronsons cuz i heard they are inferior to other tanks..

??
i dont exactly understand
but if your trying to make pot butter
1 ounce to 1lb of unsalted butter
grind your weed
melt your butter in a pot of water on high heat
once butter is melted reduce to low heat and add weed
simmer for 3-4 hours
then turn heat off, strain boiled remains of weed through a cheese cloth into a large bowl

and then put it in the fridge, within a few hours the water and butter will seperate themselves

i hope this helps, although you might of been talking about something completely different

^^^^

That is the recipe for cannabutter, Rubix is referring to 'budder' which is a completely different animal.

Check out my 'I had to share' thread for the how to videos. This stuff is some seriously good shit.

Yes, after you run the butane through the weed you have BHO, after it gets sticky on the plate and doesn't flow anymore you return it to the top of the pan of simmering water. Simmering is the key as you really don't want to heat it up too much.

WHIPPING THE BHO WILL PURGE CLOSE TO 100% OF THE REMAINING BUTANE THUS REMOVING ALMOST ALL OF THE HYDROGEN SULFIDE. In other words, unless you blow up in the first step, the shit aint gonna kill you no matter what you read on wiki.

However, start with a good quality butane that has been triple refined, such as Colibri fuel which can be found in high end tobacco shops. Seems cigar snobs like their butane very clean as well.

By the way, unless you are using stick matches, you're ingesting hydrogen sulfide every time you light up. What do you think they stick in those lighters in your pocket.

Oh yeah, one more thing...

Do this OUTSIDE!

I can tell you from personal experience, a butane flash fire is at the very least, as scary as all fucking get out.

I had one here at my desk trying to refill a butane lighter twenty inches from a lit votive.

No burns, no scars and even kept my eyebrows. The underwear was a total loss....
