I feel like being a dick

Most of the time, I am the most understanding person ever. I mean, when people yell at me, I understand they're having a bad day. When people fuck up, I understand everyone fucks up. When people do hateful things, I understand that they are probably in pain from hateful things themselves. I believe in compassion and kindness.

However, sometimes, I gotta be honest, I get sick of being understanding and I just want to smack a dipshit on the forehead and say, "Dude, you are a tard! STFU, please!" It's not all the time, but I get sick of being understanding when no one around me is the same way, or, at least, not the same way to the same degree. I feel like they're getting a free ride off me, in a way. I let them off the hook, alot, but it never seems to benefit me when they have some issue with me.

So, from time to time, the resentment builds up, and I want to slap the shit out of every stupid fuck I come across, and lately, that's pretty much been the mood I've been in. So, if I backhand you for being a window-licking numbskull, try to be understanding, because the odds are good that I've been understanding of you for some time.

Oh Hell Rev I must say I find myself in position where I can Empathize with you quite a bit here.

I can remember when I first started my current job about a year and a half ago, I was polite and showed really no negative emotion no matter the circumstance. Now here we are today, I swear everyday could be my last, my temper is at it's peak with people it seems.

People are fucking assholes, being understanding and compassionate and all that shit is nice but, you're really doing a disservice to the fucking moron by not letting them know what a waste of oxygen they really are.

Don't bottle that shit up, the sanity you save might be mine!

What if at that one moment you were about to hit them.. they got there first and gave you a hook to the right eye.. and afterward they said, 'I'm normally a compassionate and understanding person, but today I've had it and I saw you and thought.. I just have to punch thee in thy face'. The end.

At least I would understand where they were coming from.

Of course, it would really suck if it were Jesus.

Fuck that, even if it was Jesus, I'd still hit him with a wicked right cross, then I'd stand over him Friday style and say "You got knocked the FUCK out, nigga!"

It's a fine line between door-mat and boddhisattva some times Rev.

Perhaps tell people how you feel in a nice way earlier in the conversation. That would be compassionate to you and them.

Former Addict Celebrates 10th Year Of Mind-Numbing Boredom | The Onion - America's Finest News Source

PHOENIX—Tom Stubbens, 44, a former heroin abuser, attended a party in his honor to celebrate a full decade of clean, sober, and dismally tedious living Tuesday. "The crazy gang of partiers I used to have so much fun with in the '90s wouldn't even recognize the clean and respectable person standing before you today," said Stubbens, raising an iced tea to friends at his regular evening haunt, the 36th Avenue Denny's. "Yup, but here I am... that person." Stubbens then retired to his apartment, where he watered his plants, organized his sock drawer, and fell asleep on the couch.

Congrats Rev.
