well, i like travel shows, and i think that guy would be a really good host for one. can you honestly tell me you wouldn't enjoy seeing him travel around the world to exotic places making people laugh and trying out exotic foods and shit? would be awesome.

![]() Actually, long before Josh Blue, there was Geri Jewell. She's a comedian from the 70's and 80's who did quite a bit on TV back then. She's the first comedian with a disability, at least that I am aware of, who got any kind of play on a national stage. She regularly included jokes about her CP in her routines. ![]() The Rev |

this was for a contest to host a show, hes not a comedian
the only thing similar between the two of them is their disability and their ability to laugh at themselves about it

And it wasn't a pleasant way to watch someone go. I understand where you are coming from with this and perhaps if it could just hit you 100%, eh?

My father watched his father die whilst suffering from memory loss like alzheimers. It must have been fucked up for both of them. I would hate, totally hate to lose my memory of all my loved ones and the time I shared with them. FUCK that.

I believe Alzheimer's usually manifests in the form of an inability to form short-term memories as well as confusion. Normally people affected by it don't forget their family though they many times do not recognize said family. My aunt has it, she just came out of the hospital where we thought she might die was very sad. Luckily she recovered.

I don't know if it counts as debilitating or not, but while I was in the Air Force I developed Hyperparathyroidism which caused my calcium levels to jump ten fold, causing 150+ kidney stones in nearly 6 years, as well as causing my right ankle to weaken until it completely snapped while I was running my mile and a half PT test, I've had one failed reconstructive surgery, and a second partial successful fusion of the ankle, currently have 2 3" screws running from my heel to the middle of my ankle, and recently had the 2 2" screws removed from the front of my ankle... I refuse pain meds every time I see the Dr... I'd rather toke on herb...
