Another new song! CHECK 'ER OUT!
I've been in a creative mood lately, lots of writing (literary and musical) and transcribing and recording onto this here laptop. Since the book is still a ways off, here's a song I recorded today, which I hope all here will enjoy.

im currently listening. you need to form up a band and play these songs live! this one was really pleasant (especially the guitar...nylon strings??)
i dig it mang, did you use an effect on the vocal harmonies or did you record seperate vocals?? they sound nice!! haha i have more questions

Yeah I do need to get a band together. My friend the drummer and I are looking for some people right now, the only thing is the type of music he likes, while not stuff I dislike, is not the music I record on my own. When we play together we take on a much more aggressive sound because I'm focused on my instrument, so the songs end up being more heavy and ends up being stuff I have trouble singing to.
As for the song, I'm playing a steel string acoustic. It's probably a combination of playing delicately and the type of mic I'm using that makes it sounds more like nylon. And the vocals are seperate layers, no effects used except a reverb on a couple of the layers. I like the way the bass line turned out. The chord progression for the verse and instrumental chorus were written a while ago, but I'd never even thought about the bass line. I rarely do a semi walking bass, jazzy sort of thing, but I think it sounds nice during the verse.
