Jetpacks. Everyone needs one. The applications are limitless. Would this have happened if they had jetpacks? No. Fuck putting money into maintaining roads. Give everyone jetpacks.

no, instead of a stampede they wouldve had several thousand damaged buildings where all the pilled up mofos tried to fly their jetpacks toward the pretty lights

no way man! in the new jetpack world, they'd have massive, massive domes the size of entire cities, the inner walls of which would be covered in holographic projectors that would fill the entire space with three dimensional fractal landscapes that would undulate and morph with the music, and each jetpack would be fitted with polarized magnetic fields so people couldn't bang into each other.
Although.. a rave where people can't come in contact with each other would be pretty countercurrent to the natural state of a rave...perhaps the jetpacks would have an apparatus that safely connected people together so that they could jiggle and rub each other whilst flying through air.
