Someone loan me a quarter?

Went to a real small party last night at a friends house, played quarters with my bus fare and it went missing. Pockets, under the fridge, Idk. I was able to scrounge up a buck fifty but I'm 25 cents short and now I'm stuck at his house until he gets back from work.

He had a buck fifty, just not 75. There's probably more but I'm not gonna tear his shit apart looking for a quarter.
And I totes forgot about the asking for change thing. I'm used to my bus pass... gets me up and on and out where I needs to go with no hassle.

Do they even look to see if you dropped exact change into the thingie? I knew a chick who rode the bus for 4¢ once. They hear the jingle, and figure you've paid. I can't imagine a bus driver really giving a shit about much of anything.

Unfortunately, a lot of city bus systems now have a computer fare box that shows how much was deposited. Way back in the day, before modern technology, I'd drop in two nickels in the bus fare box, instead of the two quarters required, as I smiled at the driver and moved on into the bus.

or just get on the bus and tell the driver you lost your wallet or that your stranded

bus drivers are just human beings too you know
