FFA not "stoned-friendly" anymore?

Why is it that we see more and more threads about serious stuff or what you can call fun-killers, being posted in FFA?
I mean seriously, we have so many forums about almost any subject, why posting this stuff in here?

I dunno about any of you but years ago when I'd get back home and got stoned, I'd surf through the recent FFA threads to have a laugh or two.
Or three.

Nowadays it's all like "shit sorry about that mate", or the next one is like "fuck off you fucken n00b", or is it just me?

When I'm drunk I rumble about politics in A&P, when I'm sober I talk about serious stuff in G&S and any other time I'm under influence of something else and browse OH...

Did anyone else experience the downtime an hour ago BTW?
Can't we have our good old FFA back?

Need mods who have some time to move shit to where it's supposed to be, sure they're busy.

But if I can help make you feel better, I can try...

Sometimes this is a hard call. Sometimes members put them here (in ffa) because they want them here...in which case, I lean more to leaving it here. If it gets absolutely serious, and it's obvious when it does, I move it. There are more "gray" areas when it comes to moving/leaving stuff in ffa...especially when there's equal amounts of srs and trolling/flaming in said thread.

Also, input from you guys is always welcome...if you see a thread that you think might be better suited in a different forum, send us a pm and we'll see if that is in fact, a good idea. Occasionally, some of you do, do this. And it's always appreciated.

I can't post on YaHooka while stoned, at least not very often. If I confront YaHooka high, I become so overwhelmed with the beauty of our creation that I break down. It's more than my mortal soul can bear.

I think this entire fiasco has to do with the fact that a lot of regulars don't smoke anymore, or don't smoke like they used to.

Yes, I couldn't 'find the server' to make my posts.

I think ASG nailed it, however this is my take on the other forums on the boards. I remember a long time ago when people would look through the whole board and often drop a few lines if not contribute/start a legitimate post. It really kept a nice round edge on things and seemed/s like a cool way to learn about different aspects of life.

I for instance would have no fucking clue what starcraft was, and thanks to Yahooka, I had a few good questions for a person who was talking about it. It is was it is, but I was happy to be able to keep up some what in a convo I know never to nothing about.

This was a cool thing about posting things 'where they belong' so to speak.

I wish it was like that more, ya know? People still have their niche' on here to a forum they like the best, but I really enjoy it, for instance, when we get some new traffic in the Transcendental Forums.

Cheers

also look at the top posters and see how active most of them are, and whether or not they still sit around smoking weed all the time.
