Kohler's Pig
My grandparents have a first edition print of Michael Sowa's Kohler's Pig hanging in their living room. I love this painting, its such a peaceful scene, a beautiful still pond ringed by trees. Out of left field comes this little pig, a smile all over his face, leaping off the dock into the water.

I like the painting, thought maybe it was worth sharing. Maybe I'm biased but I really dig it.

Oh, I see. Yeah I have a bias because I grew up looking at the thing. It's something I get to receive as my own when my grandparents pass away. Because of that, it has added significance. But I liked the look of the thing from day one, thats where I felt the merit of posting it as a thread came from.
