Yesterday I was workin with some inner city youth, workin for the business de la family, my parents do some stuff they get payed alot of money for and sometimes hire me to help. yesterday they got payed a shitload of money to work with some kids who were supposed to be the 'high performance' catagory of inner city youth. which i guess basically means they are the ones who actually mark something on the tests as opposed to just leaving them blank.

we were like halfway through our activity and one of the kids asks me 'if lunch was next.' i said 'yes.' then he asked me 'if there was going to be any chicken.' i said 'i dont know.'

isnt that fucked up?? i felt like shooting myself.

shit, i wish i had chicken or lunch but i didnt.

edit- and i would lulz a little bit and then wonder myself what was for lunch.

but i have a related story- i live in a condo type situation where the buildings form these square, with a playground for the children to play with in the courtyard. well one day these two little girls i know came to the door to sell some koolaid for a quarter. i gave em a quarter, cause why not i used to always do shit like that and appreciated business, and they took my cup, they didnt have any, and ran off to fill it up. they came back and i take it, and this goofy little black kid i know is across the courtyard by the koolaid, and looks at me, throws his hands llike a gangbanger, and yells "KOOOOLAID!"

i personally thought it was fucking hilarious.

I know he didnt say fried, but I love chicken and I understand that its funny when black people talk about or eat watermelon or fried chicken.

But to be fair, I love the shit too, hell I probably love popeyes more than anybody here, but that shiiiiiit kills my asshole with the spicy.
