What shaketh in the East?

That's cool man. I didn't know you were that far on the Asian side. Istanbul is the only part of Turkey I saw, other than driving in from Bulgaria.

It's a super cool place, but soo big. We knew we had to keep in to the city since we only had 5 days there. We made some friends there and Emre would really like us to come to his wedding next summer. So depending on how my Wife's career develops in the next few months and what not, hopefully we'll be over there by then. It IS a place I know I want to see again, we've not even scratched the surface of a place I felt very connected to while I was there.

Anything surprising or interesting yet? Use a bathroom yet?! It's took me a few tries before I could manage the hole on the floor, but can see how it's really good for ladies with dresses... well or men for that matter... although I'm sure they aren't called dresses when men where them... What are they? Turkish Kilts? Ok... nice skirt buddy....

heh.... you'll understand that last part when you see it......

I imagined there would be 'normal' toilets there, but that euro-shit-shelf is interesting no doubt... but once you squat over a hole, you'll understand the skirt functioning part of the last line.
