Border crossing by Land question(s)..

Someone asked me last night if they needed a passport to cross in the US. I cross now and then but I use The Jay Treaty system so I have no idea....they don't have a upgraded Quebec drivers license so I'm not sure what to tell them...~

Does appropriate photo ID still work?

I'm pretty sure that by air or boat it a must and until recently there might have been a provision for land, but I'm pretty sure it's all passport now.

canada's isn't really any better. i did an essay on reform schools and canadian-aboriginal relations and communication for a communications class last semester, and that ish was stark to say the least.

can't say for sure which tribe invented lacrosse......some say it was a collaboration of Mohawks and the Huron with a french influence.....I say the Micmac (for they were the only known tribe to play on ice) had their hand on the stick.

Evolution of Hockey

The native peoples had already invented lacrosse, and the Micmac tribe of Nova Scotia was known to have played a game on ice variously using an animal’s knucklebone, a piece of wood or a "horse apple" as a puck, while the stick was a whittled tree branch. What can be proven is that the sport of ice hockey as we know it today developed in the Dominion of Canada during the course of the 19th century.

most of us know how to use wiki too. as you can read, it says it was developed mainly between the Iroquois and Huron people.. mainly.. so the wiki authour says. still p vague to say the least.
