hai guyz!
its been a while. months ago got caught buying heroin, went to rehab, am now on suboxone and going to outpatient 4 times a week for a couple hours. feeling ok, living at my friends house, looking for a job but in the meantime going to get a piece of that 'obama money'.
i've been clean for 2 months from everything (well besides suboxone) and feel my head becoming a bit clearer everyday. unfortunately yahooka is somewhat of a trigger due to all the drug talk so i've been avoiding it for the most part, but i felt guilty so fuck it. i think i'm fr enough in my recovery i can read about about someone hitting a bong or whatever and not go out and shoot up..haha.. umm so yeah, drugs are bad, especially heroin. stay away. far away. i was going to post this in guidance & support but FFA has always been my home. i hope all you guys are doing good.

thats a bummer about getting in trouble, but it sounds like it may have a been a positive for you. also, i think you're doing yourself a positive for coming back, there are always going to be drugs and people talking about them, you shouldn't hide from all that.
anyway, welcome back, glad to hear you're doing ok!

exactly man, thats what i tell my counslers. drugs and drug talk happen to be everywhere, avoiding it entirely is impossible. they tell me i should get rid of all my friends because they smoke weed, and i of course tell them to fuck off.
but yeah getting caught definitely made me open my eyes with what i'm doing with my life, and upon completion of drug court (if i make it, which i will) the possesion of controlled substance in the 5th degree charge will be expunged, that of course is a positive. i have a few months left of counseling/weekly drug tests, at which point i'll be free. right now i'm definitely sure i want to steer clear of any hard drugs, but i'm on the fence as to whether i'll smoke weed or now...eh, i'll cross that street when it comes i guess..

well thats good. just be careful because even though they expunge that charge, it will remain in your court files so if you ever get in trouble again the DA is not going to do you any favors with lighter fines and sentences. i had a bud ticket get expunged, then got fined for something else and they worked me over with court fees and all these bullshit charges.. at the end of the ordeal the original fine was 250 but i ended up paying about 12hundo on top of that in fees and bullshit. it was pretty infuriating

I feel ya, BoT. I quit drinking about 4 months ago, and every day I'm bombarded with beer ads and shit on TV, friends having parties, etc. It makes things harder, but at the same time, it can help keep your resolve in the front of you mind.
It sounds like things are going in a good direction for you, man. If you feel like bitching or talking, PM me. Talking with other people about their sobriety issues helps me, too. ![]() The Rev |

but there will always be exceptions to the rule. it sucks but we'll just have to ignore them... And thats real good to hear BoT. it's real good when painful experiences turn out to be blessings in disguise.

Hey BoT! I left CNY, place is a shit hole.
You'd do yourself a favor to do the same asap. Living among the drama you were raised in, is fucking bullshit and no human should do it. |

man you would more than likely do yourself more good by staying here and talking to people who've been where you've been. YaHooka is a family, not a club or klan. It will likely make the rehab/process easier by expressing your feelings, thoughts to a wide group of people. It's yahooka, we love to listen and talk
![]() It just makes me sick these counselors are fretting about weed smoking friends. W.T.F ahs this world come down to.
