Do you trust your dealer with your money before getting product?

Would you hesitate to put money up front for a pickup tomorrow? If so, what is the limit?

I trust my dealer quite a lot, he's never let me down.

The Cardinal Rule to avoid getting ripped off: NEVER FRONT MONEY!!! I don't care if its your brother or your best friend, shit happens. But by following the cardinal rule, shit will happen with somebody else's money.

well, basically two days ago was my first time I had fronted 700 for some weed. Mainly cuz my dealers guy is a flake as to when he'll arrive and I'm not about to lounge around their house waiting for him and my dealer doesn't usually have that money to put out initially. It's all about repeat business; if I was a sleaze and bitched about .2 grams from an ounce or the fact that I got a bunch of tennis ball nugs that are stem infested, there will likely be bitterness and he won't give a fuck if he robs you and loses you as a customer.

plus, he doesnt mind the ever so random chems i have.

If the difference between my dude re-upin is my 15-1,000 dollars I would rather not know that he "needs" my money to get his shit taken care of...

If I need weight than I use the peking duck policy...I let them know in advance(days) then pay on pick up...

Call me unfriendly, or an asshole...but I don't like personalizing my business, it always leads to failed expectations and hurt "feelings"...

I knew of a guy in HS who wasn't buying herb as you wouldn't go to this area to buy herb unless you wanted it dusted (schwag with PCP on it), but he fronted the cash and then tried to get it back and got horribly beat up with a baseball bat, lost his cash, and didn't get what he went to that dangerous area to get which is the only reason why people go to that area.

Buddy in college fronted 1200 for an undisclosed amount of pot. In exchange for the cash, my friend held the middleman's laptop, credit card, state ID, and Fender. After waiting to hear back from the kid for about 36 hours, he finally got his re-up, albeit a few grams short, and collateral was returned. This is the only situation I've heard of where fronting bucks worked out without catastrophe ensuing. There was never business conducted with the kid again, got scathing reviews on yelp, etc.

I don't have a problem with fronting money to my dealer. Then again, I think this is because of my "only buy from someone you wouldn't mind sodomizing if you had to" rule of dealer selection.

I'm with Rev on this. I've known my main guy for years and years now and it's not just a deal it's a chance to catch up when we meet since I tend to buy a month's supply at a time. I've only fronted him a few times when he ran dry and promised to deliver once his supply came in, and he always did. Hasn't given me a reason not to trust him.

He's the only one out of a few sources that I would do that to however, and he earned it through time and reliability.

sorry guys. if you've been smoking a number of years you should have at least one dealer that will front you the stuff for at least a day before you pay.
