You know you have had a bad day when?

Well, mine started off with my jerkoff job. They keep adding more and more work to it, except no more pay. They are using the same excuse as a lot of companies, "it's the economy". But they bring in about $3 mil a week.... I left work with a damn headache...
Then went to pick up my truck from the mechanics for the THIRD time in a month!! They can't seem to get it right, it seems....
Then I finally get home about 7pm, I got me a beer, sitting on the patio, with my only "child", my cat Sadie. All of a sudden I got bombed, dead center in the top of my head by a bird

All I can say, is the sucker, better be glad my shotgun wasn't handy

Then, I finally get a bath, sittin' at the computer, I go to take a swig of my beer, and all of a sudden, I got the damn hiccups, beer goes all over my clean t-shirt......and on top of that me and the wife have quit smokin', 'cept the weekends, cause our money is too tight to buy much smoke, and because of our jobs...... aaarrrggghhhh!!!!

Also, just an observation: I always thought it would be easier if my wife smoked as far as lack of hassle goes. However, after reading your post I realized the down side - $ $ $. I would take the hassle over the $.

My day consisted of dealing with the usual behavioral stuff from my PDD/NOS child prior to work, working my day, going to my doc for my annual physical, she (my PCP) goes well past knuckle deep up my ass, says there is a trace of blood ("nothing to be concerned with" - no shit, you shoved your entire finger up my ass and fingered it for like 15 seconds b/c my aunt died of colon cancer) and that due to my aunt I should have a colonoscopy! Then I picked up my son and arrived home to deal with my daughter, who nearly broke her babysitters nose yesterday throwing a stool randomly.

Typical day, besides the finger wiggling up my ass for 15 seconds. Jeesh, that was fucked. I saw the K-Y and said out loud - "Shit!" Not to mention I have "White Coat Syndrome" (e.g., fear of doctors). I have high blood pressure (weeds the answer, btw) and it's always extra high during my doctors appointments. Shit, I'm so paranoid it is visual (sweating). Then the finger. . .

Hey I understand the doc thing....they asked me did I want to take a physical 3 yrs ago, and I said ok, seein' as how the last one I had was when I was discharged from the military in '83. Then "she" wanted to check my prostrate, I said no thanks, it can end right here. I had the colonoscopy and a week before a barium enema and x-rays, a few yrs ago, I said that killed anything anal for me for life...

Yeah, I hear that stuff you have to drink is horrid, you can't eat (I think) for 24 hours, and for the 24 hours you are shitting, eventually total water. I can't wait! *fuck*

To move forward, my dad, was probably Chevy Chase's distant brother. He had days you wouldn't believe... me and brother dreaded to hear him say, "let's go fishin'". He never took care of anything, tools everywhere, bass boat sitting out in the weather etc..Once we were out in the Everglades, aways away from civilization, and the boat wouldn't crank. Jeez, I guess it could prolly be, because the motor hasn't been run in a year and a half, with the same old gas in the tank! Of course he told me and my brother to keep fishin', he would take care of it...he had brought no tools, but he had a pocket knife. He took the cover off and tried to get it to start for what seemed like hours, finally he pulled it with a rope, cause the electric starter wasn't working either, and it cranked.

Oh, Of course this was after we paddled the boat for about an hour, it was about a 12 foot fiberglass ski boat.

Oh, and you could prolly count on having to work on at least one fishing rod, cause it wouldn't work.. LOL
We prolly endured everything that could happen, towing a boat, fishing, driving a boat....the good 'ol days
