Talking Getting pulled over.

The first time was on my way to work doing 76 in a 60, and subsequently clocked at 84 in a 70 at 5:40AM. My radar did tick a couple times but I get so many false alerts and was tired and dismissed it as construction noise. Got a warning.

Then, this morning, on my way to Wal-Mart to get a new laptop, I got pulled over for the second time in two months. I was clocked at 53 in a 40. I had my brights unnecessarily and dimmed as soon as I saw a car down the hill. As I was driving by, two seconds later, I see the light beam and slow down a good 12-15 miles per hour. Boom, hangs a 30mph U. FUCK!!! So now I'm going like exactly the limit maybe a little less, and like 10 seconds later he pulls me over. He asks me where I live, where I'm going, what part of the city...how much I had to drink. Got another warning. Prolly just looking for drunks.

I was about to ask him how he got my speed so quick. Do they have to use an actual laser gun and point it at your car? My detector didn't go off either

Both times I just said, "O, really?" when told how fast I was going and didn't make up bs excuses about not being from the area or not seeing a speed limit sign. Keep hands on the steering wheel.....don't reach for crap in the back of your car, idk

How many times you been pulled over?

I only get pulled over for stupid shit, but the cops are always reasonably cool. Sometimes, they even seem sorry, like, "It's my job. They would fire me if I didn't write you this bullshit ticket."

I was pulled over two times for a bad inspection sticker within 12 minutes of each other. I showed the second cop my first ticket, he let me go but told me not to come back through town...

I was pulled over after lighting up in a Dunkin Donuts parking lot after class (10PM). I was blasted, and the cops knew it so they fucked with me for a good 30 minutes. Called in backup and everything. After realizing I wasn't getting away I just gave them the roach, they detained me, searched the Jeep, didn't find any more pot but let me go with a verbal warning.

been pulled over several times.

only had one real dick-head of a cop, the rest, were actually pretty chill. most let me go with a warning, as long as a) i wasnt doing anything REALLY stupid and b) i wasnt a smart-ass to the cop. in my experience, respect the cop, he'll/she'll respect you.

More than I should have been that's for sure. Usually never a problem, turn off the car, hands on the wheel, license and registration out and be polite and all usually goes accordingly. I've run into the occasional dickhead cop but nothing too much of a fine and a court appearance wouldn't fix.

I've been pulled over just once, officer told me I was doing 130(km) in a 100 zone, I insisted I was doing highway speed then she proceeded to tell me that 110km/h is still speeding and let me off with a warning. What I find really helps is like others said: respect. Also it seems helpful if when they ask for liscence and registration you can reach for exactly the spot where it is kept and hand it to them in just a few short seconds instead of having to hunt around your vehicle for it. This seems to speed up the checkstop every time.

I've had a number of interactions with the police involving drugs and vehicles, all of them ending quite well. Usually they seem to be mostly concerned with drunk drivers and making sure the car is legit and we don't have any warrants. Never had any hard asses calling in k-9 to search the vehicle or anything, even though a couple times it probably would have been justified.

O yeah I had the insurance card right when he asked for it. I keep mine in a folded holder on the car door.

one time i got a speeding ticket as a consequence of the policeman not being able to find any drugs/alcohol in my car. it was a total setup. i imagine i made a thread about it here, but that was like 6 or 7 years ago so who knows.

also i got pulled over while driving in serbia. good times.

I was pulled over when I was only 14, got three tickets, one for drivin with no license, no head lights and a broken tail light, and the bastard even gave my mom a ticket for letting me drive, AND towed the car even though my mother and grandmother (got pulled over right in front of her house) was there and able to drive it home. That's the only time a cops been a dick to me, after I got my license cops are pretty chill to me, although everyone in this town says they're all dicks.

The next time I was supposedly clocked going 53 in a 30 but he never issued a ticket so I'm pretty sure he was BSing a reason to stop me, but did give me a ticket for no license (again)
Ha ha I remember going to court seeing the same judge for the second no license ticket, and he says so why'd you do it this time? And I responded, "Well, honestly sir, I thought I'd get away with it."
So the guy laughs, thanks me for my honesty and gives me the minimal fine.
Next time I ran a stop sign gettin onto the highway but as the officer is looking at my (expired by now) license, some dick runs the same stop sign and peels out a little right next to me and the cop, so the cop mumbles under his breath 'this mutha fucka..' hands me my license back and says have a good day. hahahaha some chump saved my ass from multiple fines/tickets, I had expired license/inspection sticker ran a stop sign and forgot all about seatbelts (which is also a law here)
Next time I was pulled over I was in my Honda thats rather loud (exhaust leak) and I was going down a one way road, came around a corner and bam, there were about four cops so obviously I slowed down and veered off the road as much as possible, but as soon as I passed em they start flashin lights and hollerin for me to stop, so I oblige and the dude comes to my window all pissed off like I burnt out in his face or somethin and issues me a 'wreckless driving' ticket worth 123 bucks!!!!!!!! I was uber pissed..
Got pulled over again for running a stop sign, but the cop stepped back and looked at my car after reading my license and says, "You got a brother?" a big feeling of relief set in as I said "Yessir, Chace Miller, this used to be his car" and he hands back my license and says This ones on Chace, have a good day.

The only thing that actually lives in my cars, other than that and some cleaning shit in the trunk my cars are empty.

This is a good habit to get into, back when I stole cars for a living we had to clean out and inventory the cars contents and store that shit until the customer retrieved the property or sixty days until we could throw it out.

People are fucking pigs man...

I've pulled everything out of cars from 26" dildos to bags of human blood to remains of the dear departed.

I got a lot of good shit too, cameras, jewelery, CASH!

People are pigs, stupid pigs, with more stuff than they know what to do with.

no, what happened was he wrote me two tickets- operating a vehicle with out a license, which was like 3 points and 130 bucks, and then 35+ which was +6 points and like 270 bucks. he writes tickets comes back, ask if the girl had a license, and she didnt so he told me hed follow me over to a side street where i could park and find some one to come get us. as he past us he waved, smiled, and we walked around the block, decided it was safe, and drove off.

i got my wisconsin license, already had a missouri one(i had just lost it), went to court and pleaded not guilty, got the operating a vehicle down to driving with out my license, which was 1 dollar and no points and the speeding ticket knocked down to 15+ which ended up still being 6 points i think but only like 170 bucks or 130 or something...

im purty sure i made a thread.
