This is very cool.

I was hit in the side in my truck years ago. As I was donuting down the road, I could see the rear end of the truck, like it was rubber and bent or something. All in slow motion.

All I could think of was, how strange.

When my ex was in Vietnam, he said that he was hiding behind a bush and was being fired upon. He says he went into slow motion and was actually able to see the bullets coming and actually dodge them.

Kinda puts a new slant on, "It's gotta be real, I saw it with my own eyes!"

Interesting Mafoo.

I've noticed when crashing motorcycles that time slows almost to a stop while you're flying through the air then it speeds up really fast when you hit the ground.

i found it really interesting that our brain is actually "speeding up" time when we see things that are familiar to us. maybe thats why it feels like time goes by faster as you get older?

also i was thinking about when you're a kid how being put on time out for even 10 minutes can be an excruciatingly long time.

to me it just goes to show that psychedelics "trick" the brain into thinking at a higher rate and that it causes all kinds of wonky perception.

I've noticed a similar effect after I've had a seizure.
