The best liquor $50 can buy
So as most of you now I'm generally a broke fuck. However I was recently given $50 for the express purpose of "having a good time on my birthday" which is to say my 21st birthday this Friday. It's probably the only birthday money I'll see, so that's my limit.
So I'm kinda feeling a top shelf personal bottle instead of a bar crawl which most of my friends want me to do, which will get real expensive real fast and I'll probably end up running out of money long before the night should end. What would you suggest? I don't do tequila.

single malt scotch, common ones are glenlivet and and glenfiddich, you can get a fifth of either for probably a little less than $50

You haven't done the right Tequila. Might I suggest a fine bottle of Corzo reposado Tequila. Smooth, with a slight hint of delicately charred French oak, a fine buttery vanilla tongue with a slight burn. Heaven. And the bottle, it's award winning. ![]()

I'm assuming any of these should be enjoyed on the rocks?
Edit: I've had (as memory serves) Patron, Don Julio Blanco, Dos Lunas Silver and of course Jose Cuervo Gold. I know there are others but their names probably aren't even worth mentioning. I want to give tequila another shot, but not quite yet, haha.

Delicately charred french oak? How do you know it doesn't taste like delicately charred hungarian oak? Why french?

Common sense has tricked in and has informed me that the tequila is likely aged in barrels made of french oak.

Fine Tequila is meant to be enjoyed neat, at room temperature with a nice, cold sangrita.

make your friends/bars buy you drinks all night on your 21st then buy the bottle/bag of weed after for the recuperation...
Your 21 now, it is the only time it is expected that you drink for free, unless you grow a vagina...
