thats baaaad for louis PR team. it makes me question the authenticity and quality of a show when i already know louis CK is one of the funniest dudes alive right now.

apparently its a single-cam low budget type of show that got greenlit and done pretty quickly which explains why i havent heard of it. louis gets complete creative control over the series, thats what sold me. i love when good comedians get these low budget shows where they can basically just do their standup in show-format for half an hour to an hour each week.

Meh, I was kinda put off as soon as i saw the Archie like text and cheesy theme song.

Stick to stand up, imo. Though like i said the show def has its awesome moments.

Louie CK is like any thespian, in that he knows a good act when he sees one and repeats it.

Off the cuff he isn't so great.

he has a very real, relate-able, some what 'dark' sense of humor.
he's always depressed but makes it funny. i like that.

I watch every new episode on Hulu and most more than once plus the majority of his stand up and, wtf are you talking about 'off the cuff'?

I'm guessing you haven't seen him on various talk shows/podcasts where he pretty much repeats his acts until someone throws him a bone he can't handle.

Yes, a show that's not up to the caliber of his stand up. Anyone who knows anything about editing knows he doesn't have full control of it.
