eBay tryfes and feedback

Anyone encounter some real assholes on eBay? I haven't really, but a week ago when i sold my laptop, the guy calls me like two days after i sent it, just as he sent me an email telling me I'm a liar and the "tracking" number is wrong.

"yo e lier the number is wrong"

I'm sorry, but the delivery confirmation number I gave you is not a fucking tracking.

Fortunately I have not received a negative or neutral as of yet, but I wish i could leave my true feedback on some schmucks i have dealt with, but you know the negative is going to come right back.

They changed their policy regarding retaliation, so now its easier for the buyer to express their displeasure and makes it harder for the seller to do so.

I haven't had any problems, either buying or selling. The only times I had a problem is one time when I put a bid on something then the seller pulled the auction at the last minute because he didn't like the price he was going to get, and another time when I paid, but the guy never shipped. Paypal or whatever reimbursed me tho, so no harm, no foul. I got some amazing deals on coins from ebay that have more than made up for any inconvenience.

Must've been a reserved price auction or something. I once shipped an mp3 player years ago on good faith before receiving the money. Never got it, the buyer got the account deleted but I never saw the $78. My first and only sale, never had to give a negative feedback when buying tho.

I only ever used e-bay once to buy new gofl clubs, and I was happy with the result. I got a brand new, still in the box Nike CCi iron set for almost $800 less than I would have paid for it at Golf Town. Sweet.

I feel your pain though, with the guy thinking the confirmation number was the tracking number..I would have been a lot less "diplomatic" about it, but that's probably only because I'm a shipper.

I've sold stuff on ebay and I once gave someone neutral feedback since I bought something from them and it never arrived and it was impossible to get in communication from them. They got angry and gave me neutral feedback but then we just retracted each other's neutral feedback.

This happened awhile ago back when sellers could leave buyers negative or neutral feedback.

When I sell stuff on ebay I only ship after I get the payment.

I've had people I sold stuff to send me emails flipping out when the package is a day late when I sent it on time and they live very far away so it's going to take some time getting to them.

ebay is useful as fuck for some things. random sd cards that are certain formats , a jewelers 10x and 30x loupe for looking at trichomes, ive gotten all sorts of weird obscure things on ebay- a usb controller that let me plug a ps2 or n64 controller into my pc.

... i know this has nothing to do with the op but.

I've never sold anything, but I've bought about 25 times. I've left negative feedback once, when a seller said excellent condition, when in fact it was damaged. We agreed to a partial refund, which they never sent.

I've had a few times where I've left neutral feedback, when the seller takes way too long to ship (like 4-6 weeks with no explanation).

All the other times have been fine to great.

or more specifically, a confirmation number saying it was delivered. that's the great thing abou click-n-ship labels.

Tracking number dealy costs like less than a dollar, and includes said confirmation. No labels to buy

that's what the guy that bought my laptop thought too. It's not tracking. it's only a confirmation of delivery. Yes, it's true it is often updated before delivery, but is only required to be scanned just before it it's delivered, or when it's delivered.

The only available tracking for USPS is express mail.

But it works as tracking. So what's the problem?

no, not really. only sometimes. and electronic click and ship labels are more likely to get scanned and updated for some reason. its free with the online postage and postage costs less.

Keep balee-in dat son. I understand what you're saying, but the fact of the matter is every book I've sent, which has been far too many at this point lol, gets updated rather frequently once it gets movin. Real handy dandy
