sniping on ebay

There is something I really want to win on ebay that's being auctioned off.

I know all about sniping on ebay.

Is it better to do it manually or to use a sniping service or software? Can you get past sniping services or software by manually sniping?

Also if you use sniping software or a sniping service which one is the best to use? They all say that they are the best and I wonder if they are better to use than just ebay sniping the old fashioned way?

Yeah I know that sniping is frowned upon but everyone I know that bids on stuff on ebay does it and it is not against the rules.

Fuck eBay and the whole 'lets see how much I can wring outta these fools' attitude.

Gimme a fuckin' price already, the idea is to haggle down, not up.

Oh and go for the software, you can always recoup your cost by selling burned copies.

i get mad when people make a bid with like 4 days left. All they are doing is raising the price for whoever wins it! Everyone should wait the last 3 secs then go for it.

What are ya bidding on phishdude?

If I wanted something that bad, I wouldn't snipe at all.

Figure out what is the absolute most you would be willing to pay, then put in a maximum bid. High bid wins.

Use the software with some well thought out bidding thresholds. If you're "savvy" you can get the software for free.

Sellers do this all the time to their own products - bid on them using a diff account in order to raise the price. Pricks

And I love when it appears to be a good deal until you realize the shipping and handling rate is so obscene that it is not really a good deal at all. Those people are ass-holes equally.

Hardly true. eBay catches people all the time whose relatives try to up the price. I can't imagine bidding on ure own goods.

Afterall, what's the point? Do you really end up with a higher price in the end? Especially if you get stupid and end ip winning ur own shit. That's how many people get caught, by not paying for the product, and no non-payment complaint is filed.

Happens all the time, believe it or not. They don't up the price dramatically but in increments until it meets approximately their reserve.

Personally I hate bidding. I look what the product would cost in a mortar store, check online for the best deal possible, and usually end up on Amazon or ebay. I hate bidding on ebay as I want to know what something will cost, including shipping, and therefore, base my purchasing decisions on "Buy it now".
