Halo Reach addiction
Just got thru playing 6 hours of halo. boy was that therapeutic. good fucking day... anybody have any game marathons?

Plenty. I'm a former WoW raider, currently killing time with Star Trek Online (which I just finished a few hours of) and waiting to see what Star Wars the Old Republic is going to be like.

I was a big fan of the first one, and this one is that in spades and removed a lot of the little annoyances.

Gameplay is decent, a little repetitive at times, but it's the level of detail that sucks me in. From the incredibly immersive world to the lighting on skin textures alone, it's the story, subtle body language and nuances that keep me compelled to play.

I too was a former endgame WoW Raider, even just reading WoW I can feel pangs of addiction wanting me to activate my account again.

Damn that shit's so close to crack it's no joke.


Luckily though, my friend just got invited to do game testing for the Old Republic, so that'll probably end up being my next vice.

im addicted to reach at the minute too, its a quality game. pisses all over call of duty and battlefield from a high height

Seriously? I got it as well, exactly the same as Halo 3, albeit with jetpacks imo. Black Ops is going to destroy Reach.

I hear that. I even went so far as to reinstall the game on my machine. Fortunately, my natural tendency to procrastinate and the fact that I have to jump through all sorts of hoops to get my account reactivated have kept me from doing so.

TOR is looking pretty sweet though. I haven't read up on everything about it yet, but as of this moment I'm thinking my first toon will be a Sith Inquisitor.

I heard torchlight 2 will be tons better because apparently it's being devloped by people who actually worked on diablo 2, whereas no one from the original dev team is making number three.
