home for a nomadic hippie
We have found it, after years of searching.
There are over 70 communes/multiple occupancy farms in this shire, choosing one is hard work. Being chosen is harder. The politics of these 70 places comes in about 70 different varieties. Some are professional weed growers, some are hard-core environmentalists, some are just poverty stricken suburban scum that took a chance to buy cheap land, and 1 place I know of has a thriving feral sex industry where people pay to fuck beautiful young hippies... Send us some good wishes for our new home, (we'd prefer money because we haven't actually exchanged contracts yet and the more we can scrape together the better our life will be)... Our place is environment friendly, we will have solar, composting toilets, organic food gardens, a grey-water waste management system, fantastic neighbours we have known for about 10 years... The difference between the lifestyle I can rent and the lifestyle I can own is large, but I am so ready to make the switch... Wish us luck...
