Yahooka - born 1998 died 2010

Yahooka died on the morning of Friday, September 24, two thousand and ten. She succumbed to lack of oxygen (members), but the exact cause of death will not be known, as an autopsy will not be performed.

She is survived by her parents, test clear, and many cousins and nephews. She leaves behind no children.

A wake will be held tomorrow morning, and a funeral will be held on Sunday, at 11:45 AM. Please send condolences in lieu of flowers.

On what date is YaHooka officially a teenager? Sometime in 2011, I know, but what's the exact date? I ask because I think Sage should have a talk with it about the birds and the bees, then we should all pitch in for a hooker for it.

kane, u keep bringing up this topic...and then u dont give any ideas as how to fix the issue.. Either work on welcoming new members...maybe put it up on your face book if u have one , ask some irl friends to pay a visit.

Also u know man, if u are not enjoying things here anymore....well maybe its time to just take a step back and move on or at least take a few months break.

I dont know whats going on your life of course but over the last few months u dont seem to be happy about a lot of things and just seem to be in a slump. Honestly u sound rather unhappy.

i am not trying to be a dick but i probably sound like one and for that apologize but i kinda think u need to take a look at your own life and try to go out a lil more and have some fun outside of yahooka


*edit, actually, u did make one post about how to improve yahooka...and that was to remove ASG.

but i gotta say man, until a short time ago, i totally thought asg was out to make things hard for me personally.....but i ended up being dead wrong. It was another mod completely. When i talked to asg about it she was wonderful to deal with...i said a lot of bad stuff about her and she totally was kewl about the whole thing. I think she gets a bad rap here. If u talk to her is a respectful manner she responds in the same way. Also lets not forget.......at one point in time asg was in irc quite a bit....the girl has a sense of humor, she is understanding and honestly quite forgiving. I think its just a matter of showing her respect and u will get respect in return. Plus she has the job of a mod....she has to make unpopular choices at times...its part of the gig...not so much her being a bad person.

the fact that these threads keep popping up should be a good indicator that this place now sucks, but hey, you dont have to believe me. just look at the quality of threads. or the amount of threads. or the amount of users/new users. or pretty much any objective factor that could be an indicator of a loss in popularity/quality. used to be 75% blue names in FFA, now its 90% green. for those of you who are a bit slow this means that NO ONE NEW IS COMING TO YAHOOKA and it probably will die a slow stale, death. i'll be here playin my violin till the end though. still some cool peepz among the lamos

yahooka is not dead, it's just a little on the lamer side now.

too many rules and petty infractions, especially in ffa. it's definitely hurt the vibe.



what im really puzzled about is why the ffa is private... again? yahooka has become so damn sweet it makes my teeth hurt. what is so offensive about ffa now? nothing. and it really doesnt make much sense to make the most popular (and severely subdued now) part of the board invisible to new members wanting to join. now they can only see the other sub forums and their, maybe, 10 new posts a day. woopee.
