I think I may have a drug problem lol

Two weeks ago i got a script for 90 1mg xanax and took them all in two days.
Two days ago I got a script for 60 2mg klonopin, just took 18mg worth and still feel okay to drive/do a drunk driving test.

Is this normal for someone to be so immune to benzos?

I got a script for 30 klonopin about 4 years ago. I still have like 10. If I take two, I'm out cold (really handy when you have a really bad bout of depression hitting you). I can't imagine taking 9 of them. Are you sure you're not in a coma and just dreaming all of this?

The best thing that's ever helped me with my depression is meditation. SSRI's have done their part as well, but meditation is what really got it under control for me. As for weed, I can't smoke when I'm depressed. Depression and anxiety are two sides to the same coin for me, and when I smoke, I start to get a depressing and anxious perspective on things, and it's very counterproductive. I want all my weed usage to have some spiritual benefit, and going into the dark places undermines that.

Klonopin, on the other hand, I have used 2-3 times when my depression was really aggravated, and I just needed to go to sleep to escape it. These times were all around the time following my mother's death when I was working out alot of issues (watched her deteriorate over the course of a year from lung cancer).

BTW, if this is too much information, sorry. Felt chatty there for a minute.

Seeing as she's been cremated, the only way I could do klonopin with my mom would be to chop it up, and cut in some of her ashes before snorting it. That idea doesn't really appeal to me.

A couple of 1mg Xanax, some good weed, and a few power beers is my recipes after 8:30PM. How long do you really want to live? Until you are 80 and miserable, because don't kid yourself, for most being 80n sucks. I think 72 is a good age to go. You still have $ (if you are responsible and planned right) and you have good stuff to leave your kid(s).

wow you miserable fucking bastard. 90 footballs in 2 days? just kill yourself already if that's all you're trying to do. what are you getting the scripts for? you obviously don't need them like some people do, and it makes me fucking sick to see you abusing those meds like that when some people actually need them for anxiety. i get a script for 120 .5 xanax every month and I can usually make them last up untill the very end of the month. and I am very, very grateful to my doctor and health insurance provider because without the xanax I would be a nervous wreck.

it's pieces of shit like you that make it harder for someone with a legitimate problem to get the treatment they need because you go and fucking abuse the hell out of them and then doctors are more reluctant to prescribe them because they know there are wastes of life like you that only want some benzos to get high.

if you are going to two different doctors, one for each script, than you really do deserve to die.

wow what's with all the hate man? damn I used to be on benzos that hard. before I found out I'm bipolar. before I'd admit I was an alcoholic. I'd eat every piece of any benzo I could get my hands on. it's like my crack. that shit has the worst withdrawals ever. it and alcohol. anyway yeah uh 90 footballs in 2 days? way too much. slow your role..... life in the fast lane doesn't get you anywhere. except dead or paraplegic.

ok well you just go on and keep trying to justify his junkie behavior and i'll keep to my cold hard facts.

it's not hate, more like tough love. I don't really think he deserves to die but going to two different doctors to try and get benzos is completely fucked up and stupid in my opinion.

edit- if you can't practice at least some kind of self control you have NO BUSINESS being prescribed to addictive substances. it's not going to make your life any better, which is the intention, but it's going to make your life a hell of a lot worse.

yeah trust me I've lived through this shit and been down this road, I've been horribly addicted to benzos in the past, but that was because i just ate the hell out of them to get high. then later on in life i decided that it was leading nowhere except straight down a slippery slope into complete drug addiction and self loathing/pity.

now i'll admit when i first started getting prescribed the the xanax i took them more often then i should because it's difficult to adjust from that junkie just wanting your fix and to get high mentality from the that of the clinical patient that is truly trying to better oneself.

then one day i grew a pair of balls and decided that these pills were not my reason for living but that they could actually help me enjoy the things that really do make life worth living.

in the long run if you are trying to be prescribed to benzodiazepenes for an extensive period of time, which mostly all patients are, then you have to accept the fact that it is a very, very addictive substance and it can either make or break you. I have terrible withdrawals if I run out or don't take them but that is why you make it last man. if I didn't take them as prescribed then I would be an even more miserable person than I already am.

show and practice some damn responsibility and self-control. either that or be prepared to meet your certain doom.
