Home with the flu

hey yall

home with the flu since sunday.

Please send some good vibes, because i got work on friday and especially saturday night (dj gig for a big party)

i was looking fwd to play for this party, but eversince i got the flu i kinda wish it would get postponed..

loud music right now kinda gives me a headache (not to mention loading and setting up sound and lights), but i cant let them down and i could also use the money to pay bills.

please send some good vibes

i could use them

Ginger tea (adrak chai) helps too.

5 cups water
3 tablespoons finely grated or chopped fresh ginger
6 tablespoons sugar or 5 tablespoons honey
1 pinch ground black pepper
4 tablespoons lemon juice
Chopped mint leaves (optional)

Boil the water & ginger rapidly in an uncovered saucepan for 10 minutes. Stir the sweetener into the mixture until it dissolves. Strain, pressing the ginger against the strainer to extract as much of its essense as possible. Then add the pepper and the lemon juice. Serve hot.

Large quantities of vitamin C sometimes do the trick.

What kind of tunes are you playing?

thanks for the vibes everyone Well appreciated.

Both gigs went fine! Better than i expected actually. Sending back vibes to all those who helped me

Its amazing what good vibes can do to your energy levels sometimes.

The Krishna chai is a keeper hijabi! I kinda improvised and added some cinnamon and lemon skin to it and it tastes great. Good for the throat too.

Funny things happen. My roadie decided to leave me in the middle of the night, without telling me that he wasnt coming back and went drinking with his friends (although he promised he would come back to help me down pack). So at 4am (and after almost 10hrs of work) i had to start down packing on my own. Wasnt looking fwd to that, but the good vibes of the party gave me an energy boost.

Plus this hippy/stoner looking brother offered to help me. That was very nice of him! Offered him work for the future, so we ll be in contact.

FG : the tunes were mostly 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000+. Dance music all night.

I'll have to try that. What exactly did you do, because that sounds good.
Possibly some cardamom...
