*edit: you got in there while I was posting, but yes.... I DO see the confusion totally*

Certainly looks a lot like what you're talking about.

Buddleja is the genus you are talking about though I believe, at least, this is commonly what I've heard called 'butterfly' bushes, as they deff. like them.

We used to grow them at the greenhouse I worked at... they are like weeds once they get going, and it's crazy to see how cutting them back hardly phases them. Really fast growers. Good shit. Nice colour choices, all reliable, in my experience. Fairly tolerant of colder zones.

Here's a pic: It's easier to see where the confusion lies in which is which from the pics above...

Cheers

I can't seem to find a good enough picture to illustrate my point, but there have been times during monarch migration when I've seen dozens of monarchs on a single small buddleja. It's quite the sight to be honest, all the orange and black butterflies on that purple flower bud.

If you mean to 'illustrate' the picture you're painting there with words... I'll chip in here I have some 'pictures' of what you mean, that I took with my eye camera

I'm not sure what varieties, if there is one over another, that attracts them. I've seen what you're talking about on deep purple as well, although I think on all white would be just as stunning.

Heck... seeing that many butterflies is simple cool enough

There is/was a butterfly conservatory in Niagara Falls I went to years ago. It was quite fascinating and wonderful. I almost stepped on one and without thinking, picked it up and moved it off the path. A guard saw me and bitched me out for it (there were signs all over not to touch the butterflies). My kid took a photo of me getting bitched out.

The Sage Tree is the tree under which I sat for 40 days, meditating, before I found Enlightenment.

it's funny how arbitrary human taste in beauty is. if a butterfly didn't have colorful wings it would just be an enormous, scary, terrible insect. The colors for the most part are a defense mechanism to let other creatures know that the butteflies taste bad. Yet some how out of that sloppy mess of evolution we got a creature that's breathtaking, stunning dare I say CUTE.

Rephrase the question?

Are you asking me is I would swap out 'Sage' for 'Chaste' and see no difference, or that it's a synonym??

I'd look it up, I'm not really sure where or why the common name comes from.

Here is a dictionary version of the word.

Quote:
chaste:
1.refraining from sexual intercourse that is regarded as contrary to morality or religion; virtuous.
2.virgin.
3.not engaging in sexual relations; celibate.
4.free from obscenity; decent: chaste conversation.
5.undefiled or stainless: chaste, white snow.
6.pure in style; not excessively ornamented; simple.
7.Obsolete . unmarried.

I was trying to be coy I suppose.

really I was asking "is it wrong for a man to want more than one woman to be in love with him at a single time?"

"In Love"?

You mean sexual love or what?

Imo, that is a personal question only you can answer.

You could ask yourself 'why' or 'why not' perhaps?

If you are with a partner atm, then, I feel, you have a group conversation on your hands, an agreement or else it's likely you're sneaking around.

Open relationships exist and are a reality.

so you're implying that if she's ok with it than there is no sin in the act?

Without comment on, implying wrong or right, or what is or isn't a sin or if it even exists, I will say it would be greatly responsible to ALL parties involved if they knew about each other and take it from there.

It's up to you man. I can't pardon or condone here, it's not my sex life, relationships and loved ones.

Oh man!!!! No comment.

Good luck Kitch. I can't tell you want to do, only what I would/have done, myself. But that doesn't mean it's what YOU should do.
