Spinning Cat Optical Illusion | Mighty Optical Illusions

It can be rotating clockwise or counter clockwise it just depends on how you take it in. With practice you can make it reverse direction at anytime

Try blinking really fast and imagine it going the other direction. Or look out of the corner of your eye helps also. Try to see it as kind of a blob when the paws are either in front of or behind the body

Yeah or try looking above or below the picture, it'll eventually start spinning in the opposite direction.

If I close my eyes for 2 or 3 seconds and picture the image spinning in the opposite direction, it's no problem, I can make it go both ways. (too bad I couldn't do that with some of my exes

Yeah, If you cant get it to work the first time you look at it give it a break for maybe a day or so. Once you see it switch the first time it will happen more often until you can do it on command.
