or did i? i smoked some of that fake weed/spice shit. suprisingly i'm pretty stoned, and i feel pretty good. i'm just struggling with how i'm rationalizing using it because its legal. its obviously addict behavior and i've been clean for 4 months prior. also, fuck G&S. FFA responses ALWAYS trump inferior pussy sub-forums.

How have you been able to make it this long?
Did you do something you can think of that specifically helped or was it a choice 'not to' every time it came up?

I have smoked spice for extended periods of time before. It is a very legit high. On average spice is about 5x more potent than weed. I personally prefer weed because it is natural. The only reason I have smoked spice is when I knew I had a drug test coming. Spice is far from a fake drug by the way. It is just a new drug that im sure soon will be illegal everywhere just like weed

. I personally do not see weed as an addiction unless you let it interfere with other more important aspects of life, but if you feel like you have relapsed try not to stress man. I have had to quit weed several times in my life. Every time all it took was a few days without it to not think about it all the time. I know you will still think about it though and it will become available for you around friends but just remember you are stronger than a little plant. I really hope this helps bro. Also I am a recovering alcoholic so I know how it feels to give something up that you feel like is holding you together. A little will power and some strong positive thinking will take you far though man. Good luck with whatever choice you make.

how certain people, and certain places or things just trigger you wanting to use again

i understand what your saying, yeah its fake weed but you caved into the craving

you gotta find out what YOUR triggers are and set yourself some boundaries.

then it's up to you to respect those boundaries.

Well now, if I'm not mistaken, the OP is working through more serious stuff and weed could be considered against his goals of staying drug free, regardless of how you view pot.

IMO, if you are doing hard drugs and then smoking pot, that is a closer step to the good/healthy side of things....

But if it's not right for a person in recovery, then it's not. It's a personal journey.
