the worse trip i witnessed though was like 15 drunk people in a garage peer pressuring some bimbo to smoke it and then proceeded to all stare and laugh at her, she lost her shit and started screaming and crying.

well something went wrong and i never got why you would need to record something like that unless you half expected something retarded or crazy to happen, so maybe it played into his own expectations, maybe he just is scared of quick sand, iunno.

i recall doing a bowl fairly bigger then a "pinky nail" or whatever, and having a totally amazing time. i was also sitting on the floor. not at one point was a terrified, though, one time i was scared in a rollercoaster way.

either way, that video gives off the vibe that guy is a dbag, but who knows... well, people who know em do.

ive never done salvia, but ive done my share of psychedelics. one thing that ive learned is that if a mind is not ready to be opened, its going to go through some serious trauma while a drug is literally forcing it open with a fucking psychedelic wrench. ive seen it firsthand, even felt it a bit on my first major LSD trip.

ive also done some serious LD/OOBE experimentation and i would bet my life that the guy was going through a very natural process of focusing away from the body, which is what you do when you LD/OOBE. you focus away from the physical body and you enter a sort of deep trance state where you are still conscious of who you are but for all intents and purposes you are dreaming. of course this experience was being generated by the drug he had taken and not his own practice and will, which leads us back to the psychedelic wrench factor. from what i saw in the video, the guy could have had a major breakthrough if he had been calm and open to the experience as opposed to fighting with all his life.

if you watch that first video, you see something very similar happening with the guy laying on the couch in that hilarious superman pose. you can tell his fucking mind is miles away and because hes not used to it the mind goes through that trauma and confusion of being in that new state while under the influence of salvia.

i find all this stuff really interesting past just the surface layers of laughing at people freaking out i guess is what im saying.

On a side note, if your 6 foot tall 300 pound friend tells you that hes going to take something to remove his grasp on reality it might be a good idea to have a few good sized guys there to stop him from hurting himself. My bud whos about the same size as the guy in the video freaked on salvia one night and thought we were all there to harvest his soul for the devil. luckily there were 5 of is there so we were able to sit him on the couch gently and everyone minded 1 limb. Trippin out with friends is a ton of fun, trying to sit for someone twice your size alone can be a bit of a recipe for disaster. I cant tell you how happy I was that I had 4 other people helping. Just watched that again and I feel so bad for his girlfriend. She's got no idea whats going on and the guy in the gray is just being useless.

cause Phish is still alive and well touring their ass off. Putting on apparently some of the best shows they have done.

saw them in june and they fucking kicked ass!

tried to get tickets for one of the New years eve shows in the city but they sold out right away.
