CBC News - Arts - Bieber tossed from B.C. laser tag centre

Teenage heart-throb and pop singing sensation Justin Bieber got into some trouble Friday night at a laser tag centre in Richmond, B.C.

The owner of a laser tag centre said Bieber was kicked out of the facility after a 12-year-old boy complained to staff he was hit by the singer.

Bieber came to the facility with two body guards and was playing a game of laser tag with 12 to 14 others.

Staff of the laser tag centre said the 16-year-old pop star from Stratford, Ont., was being followed around and heavily targeted during the game.

Richmond RCMP confirmed they are investigating an assault involving a 12-year-old boy at an entertainment facility.

"In investigations such as this, we would speak to anyone who may have information that could help the police investigation and of course that would include anyone witnesses, people working at the facility, et cetera," said RCMP Cpl. Annie Linteau.

Linteau said the boy suffered minimal injuries and did not require medical attention.

Internet gossip sites have exploded with stories over the alledged attack and the possible Bieber connection.

According to TMZ.com, Bieber was the victim of "homophobic bullying." The website reports Bieber became frustrated when the boy taunted him, but says Bieber never struck him.

Bieber is in the Vancouver area for a concert on Tuesday.

I can't wait till this kid flips out and does something real dumb. When he was playing our state fair not long ago he water ballooned a bunch of state troopers and everyone pooped about it for a bit.
